Hello, beautiful soul. Welcome back to The Everyday Life Balance Show. Depending on when you’re listening to this episode, we may be just a few days away from Christmas, or right in the middle of it.

So wherever you are, and however this season is meeting you… Merry Christmas!

I’m sending you so much love.

I adore this time of year because it gently reminds us to be joyful and that we are full of light. Christmas is a time of love, and we are made for love.

You are allowed to rest, and today I want to offer you a small gift: my pocket of calm, I’ve designed to help your heart soften and quieten your mind.

If you’re ready, let’s begin.

Let go of worry

Here is my gentle invitation to you today:

Put aside any worry that is beyond your control.

In other words, the kind of worry you cannot do anything about.

Instead, start building trust.

This message is especially for the compassionate hearts.

The sensitive souls…

The ones who love deeply, and therefore worry deeply.

If you tend to worry, you might adopt this simple phrase as a new philosophy of life:

“All is well”

Or, if it resonates with you: “I place my trust in God.”

And for today, just for today… Let that be enough.

To reinforce this philosophy of life, let me share  an empowering approach that will make a difference in your life, as it guards your heart and calms your mind.

Take a deep breath with me.

And as you breathe out, soften your shoulders and unclench your jaw.

Let your body receive the message” you are safe in this moment.

And from today onwards, adopt a carefree attitude built on trust. That’s it.

Strengthen this new belief

You deepen your faith when you upgrade and strengthen the beliefs that hold you, and this requires trust.

Here is a belief worth strengthening, built on trust: “All is well, life is always happening for me” or “I place my trust in God, and I deepen my faith daily.”

Choose the one that feels true to you or the one you’re willing to practise.

Now, I know your mind might say: “But what about…?”

So, let’s bring something powerful:

An evidence-based exercise

I want you to find evidence from your life where you’ve been carried, guided, and supported… even through challenges.

Here are three simple examples. You can reflect quietly, or journal later:

1.   Name one thing you once feared that turned out better than you expected.

2.   Name one challenge that strengthened you or revealed your resilience.

3.   Name one person, place or gift you are deeply grateful for today.

Notice what happens inside you as you remember.

Gratitude is not just a mindset; it soothes the nervous system.

It helps our body realise that there is good here too.

And when you can see the evidence, even lightly, your heart becomes more willing to trust that life is always happening for you.

Now, here is a simple calming meditation to reinforce your new belief:

Let’s anchor this belief into our body with a soft breathing practice.

We’ll do 3 rounds of the 4x4x4 breath.

If it’s safe to do so, find a comfortable position.

Let your hands rest gently. Maybe on hand over your heart, if that feels soothing.

Round 1:

Breathe in ..2..3…4

Hold 2…3…4

Release …2…3…4

As you breathe in, breathe in the gift of life.

And as you breathe out, imagine releasing a little worry.

Round 2:

Breathe in ..2..3…4

Hold 2…3…4

Release …2…3…4

Whisper to yourself: All is well.

Round 3:

Breathe in ..2..3…4

Hold 2…3…4

Release …2…3…4

And gently repeat:

Life is happening for me.

Or: I place my trust in God.

Now pause.

Notice your body.

Notice your chest, your belly, your shoulders.

Do you feel even 2% lighter?

2% softer?

2% more present?

That’s your first calm.

And it matters.

When worry returns

And if worry comes back later today, because you’re human, here is your loving reset:

Let go of what you cannot control, and return to gratitude.

Remember: you always do the best you can with the resources you have.

Make your mantra your default:

·      All is well

·      Life is always happening for me.

·      I place my trust in God and deepen my faith.

Beautiful soul… may you find peace today.

May you stop worrying long enough to feel the life that’s right here.

And may you remember your presence is a gift.
